For the last 30 years or so Marston Green & District Lions have taken Santa round the streets of Chelmsley Wood and Marston Green bringing a smile to many a child's (and adult's) face and raising much needed funds that enable us to serve.

For this year's collection in Marston Green we are collecting on Saturday and Sunday afternoons rather than all day Sunday. We received requests to do this so that it was more 'magical' for those children who live in what was our morning collection route.

Christmas Collections 2008

A very big thank you to the residents of Marston Green and Chelmsley Wood whose generosity helped us raise £3,000 from our Santa Sleigh collections last year. A big thank you too to Blooms Garden Centre and their customers who helped us raise another £900 from collections in the store.
